Christian Leadership for the Places Leadership Gets Difficult

Practical, Christ-centered workshops for leaders navigating conflict, culture, difficult decisions, and the responsibility of influence.

Leadership rarely becomes difficult because we do not know our values. It becomes difficult when living those values carries a cost.

  • How do we confront someone without condemning them?
  • How do we pursue peace without avoiding accountability?
  • How do we build high-performing teams without allowing performance to become more important than people?
  • How do we make a decision when every option carries consequences?

KBG Leadership Workshops help leaders engage these real-world challenges through a distinctly Christ-centered framework—bringing together biblical truth, practical leadership tools, organizational insight, and thoughtful application.

Our goal is not simply to talk about Christian leadership.

It is to help leaders practice it.

Choose the Depth That Fits Your Audience

Every Leadership Workshop can be delivered in one of three formats, allowing churches, ministries, conferences, businesses, and leadership programs to select the experience that best serves their audience.

60-Minute Leadership Session

A Powerful Conversation

A focused introduction to the workshop’s central leadership challenge, biblical anchors, and core Christian leadership principles.

Designed for conferences, leadership meetings, church gatherings, retreats, professional development programs, and other environments where time is limited but meaningful conversation matters.

Participants are introduced to practical ideas they can begin applying immediately while being challenged to consider how Christ should shape their response to the issue.

Includes:

  • Key biblical anchors
  • Core Christian leadership principles
  • Practical leadership applications
  • Actionable takeaways
  • Optional audience Q&A

4-Hour High-Impact Workshop

From Understanding to Application

More time creates room for more than inspiration.

The High-Impact Workshop allows participants to thoughtfully engage Scripture, examine their own leadership practices, and work through practical tools and strategies designed to produce healthier outcomes.

Interactive exercises, discussion, reflection, and real-world application help participants move from “I understand the principle” toward “I know how to practice it”.

This format is particularly well suited for inclusion within an existing conference, retreat, leadership development program, ministry initiative, or organizational training day.

Includes:

  • Deeper exploration of anchor Scripture
  • Practical frameworks and leadership tools
  • Individual reflection and self-assessment
  • Interactive exercises and case applications
  • Guided discussion
  • Strategies participants can take back to their teams and organizations

1–2 Day Leadership Intensive

Building Practices That Last

Transformation requires more than information.

The Leadership Intensive creates space for participants to explore the biblical foundations of the topic, examine the beliefs and behaviors shaping their leadership, practice new approaches, and develop strategies for bringing Christian values into everyday organizational life.

Sessions can be delivered consecutively or incorporated across a 1–3 day conference, retreat, leadership summit, or organizational program.

The additional time allows participants to move beyond learning principles toward developing the practices, tools, language, and habits necessary for sustained adoption.

Includes:

  • Intensive study of anchor Scripture
  • Christian leadership frameworks
  • Practical tools and strategies
  • Case studies and scenario-based exercises
  • Individual and group reflection
  • Facilitated discussion and application
  • Practice with difficult real-world situations
  • Personal and/or organizational action planning

Signature Workshops

Signature topics equipping ministry leaders and teams to lead with purpose, faith, and impact.

Conflict Without Compromise

Managing disagreement, difficult conversations, and reconciliation in Christ-like ways.

What if the goal of Christian conflict isn’t simply to win, avoid the fight, or keep the peace—but to respond in a way that reflects Christ?

Conflict is unavoidable wherever people work, serve, build, worship, and lead together. What distinguishes Christian leadership is not the absence of disagreement, but how we behave when disagreement occurs.

Conflict Without Compromise explores the tension Christian leaders often face between grace and accountability, truth and love, forgiveness and boundaries, courage and peace.

Rather than treating Scripture as a collection of inspirational verses about getting along, participants examine what biblical principles mean when conflict becomes real: conversations are avoided, emotions escalate, people triangulate, trust deteriorates, accountability becomes uncomfortable, or reconciliation seems impossible.

Through Scripture, practical conflict-management tools, and real-world organizational application, participants learn to pursue healthier outcomes without compromising either truth or Christ-like character.

Biblical Anchors: Matthew 18:15–17 • James 1:19–20 • Ephesians 4:25–32 • Romans 12:18 • Matthew 5:9

Participants will learn to:
  • Recognize common conflict behaviors—including avoidance, escalation, triangulation, defensiveness, and unhealthy accommodation—and understand how they affect relationships and organizations.
  • Approach difficult conversations through biblical principles of truth, grace, humility, listening, and accountability.
  • Distinguish peacemaking from peacekeeping and understand why avoiding necessary conflict can sometimes allow greater harm.
  • Use practical tools for addressing disagreement before it develops into damaged trust, fractured relationships, or organizational dysfunction.
  • Navigate the difficult relationship between forgiveness, reconciliation, accountability, and healthy boundaries.
  • Examine their own responses to conflict and identify opportunities to become a more Christ-like peacemaker.

Building Kingdom Culture

Helping leaders bring the culture of the Kingdom into the culture of their organizations.

If Christ really leads us, what should people experience inside the organizations we lead?

Organizations communicate what they value long before anyone reads their mission statement.

Culture is experienced in how people are treated, how decisions are made, how leaders use authority, how mistakes are handled, what behaviors are rewarded, how conflict is addressed, and what happens when performance and values collide.

Building Kingdom Culture challenges Christian leaders to consider whether the organizations they lead merely profess Christian values—or consistently practice them.

Participants explore what humility, dignity, stewardship, accountability, grace, courage, service, excellence, and love look like when translated into actual organizational behavior.

The goal is not to create a culture where accountability disappears in the name of kindness. Nor is it to place Christian language over leadership practices indistinguishable from the surrounding world.

The challenge is greater: To build organizations where both people and purpose can thrive—and where the way we lead bears evidence of the Kingdom we represent.

Participants will learn to:
  • Examine the difference between stated values and experienced culture and identify where gaps commonly emerge.
  • Translate core Christian values such as humility, stewardship, dignity, service, grace, and accountability into observable leadership behaviors.
  • Understand how leadership decisions, communication, incentives, conflict, and the use of authority shape organizational culture.
  • Explore how Christian leaders can pursue excellence and healthy performance without allowing results to diminish the dignity of people.
  • Identify cultural practices that strengthen trust, accountability, psychological safety, belonging, and responsible stewardship.
  • Develop practical ways to intentionally bring Kingdom values into teams, ministries, businesses, and other organizations they influence.

Leading When the Answer Isn’t Clear

Christian decision-making under pressure, uncertainty, and competing priorities.

Following Christ does not mean every leadership decision comes with an obvious answer.

Leaders routinely encounter decisions where several options appear reasonable, information is incomplete, people disagree, consequences matter, and Scripture does not provide a simple instruction for the situation in front of them.

Those are often the moments when leadership reveals what truly guides us.

Leading When the Answer Isn’t Clear helps Christian leaders develop a more thoughtful approach to decision-making—one that goes beyond simply asking God to bless the choice they already prefer.

Participants examine how Scripture, prayer, wisdom, counsel, character, stewardship, motives, consequences, and discernment work together when navigating complex decisions.

Along the way, we confront some of the forces that can quietly distort judgment: fear, pride, urgency, ambition, people-pleasing, self-protection, certainty, and the pressure to produce results.

Christian decision-making is not simply praying about a decision.

It is learning to make decisions from a worldview increasingly transformed by Christ.

Participants will learn to:
  • Apply a Christ-centered framework to decisions where there is no obvious or risk-free answer.

  • Distinguish biblical principles from personal preferences, organizational habits, cultural expectations, and pressure from others.

  • Recognize how fear, pride, ambition, urgency, ego, and self-protection can influence leadership judgment.

  • Incorporate prayer, Scripture, wise counsel, discernment, stewardship, and practical analysis into a thoughtful decision-making process.

  • Evaluate decisions not only by desired outcomes, but also by their impact on people, relationships, responsibilities, witness, and long-term stewardship.

  • Lead with greater peace and confidence when uncertainty remains after thoughtful discernment.
